Pole dancing is fun, but dancing on a spinning pole is even more fun! It adds a whole new dimension to tricks. Plus some say working out on a spinning pole works your muscles harder as you battle with speed and gravity. I set out to find the best spinning dancing pole in the UK.
There were a few contenders including the Carmen Electra Rotating Pole and the Platinum Stages permanent spinning pole. But one pole stood out above the rest in terms of safety and quality.
First I explain what criteria I used for selecting the best spinning dance pole in the UK, and then I tell you which came top of the list and why.

What to Look for in a Spinning Dance Pole?
When you are spinning on a pole, you exert more force when doing pole moves than you would on a static pole. Therefore it is more important than ever that you select a sturdy pole that will hold your weight for safety reasons.
Some poles just aren’t up to the job, that’s why poles on the cheaper end of the market don’t spin. A lot of engineering goes into making a spinning dance pole. Some manufacturers of the cheaper poles just aren’t willing to pay for the extra research required to make a pole that spins but does so safely.
Some people prefer to have a screwed in-ceiling plate for a sense of security. But when you select a high quality removable and spinning dance pole you will be just as safe.
For safety and proper pole installation, you should position your removable pole underneath a ceiling joist.
So I don’t necessarily look for permanent spinning dance poles when a quality removable pole can be just as sturdy.
What is the Best Spinning Dancing Pole to Buy in the UK?
If you want to buy a spinning dancing pole in there is really one best option and that is the X-pole Xpert. The cheaper X-pole Sport doesn’t spin so it is ideal for beginners to intermediate or those who get dizzy easily. But the Xpert pole is top-notch and switches from static to spinning very easily.
It is fully removable but very sturdy and will allow you to carry out any and all pole tricks on it safely. It is considered the leading dance pole in the UK and possibly worldwide.
Being removable, it can be taken down and stored in its carry case without leaving a mark on your ceiling or floor. Which is handy if you want to keep your pole dancing secret or have guests around.
Many competitor products such as the Platinum Stages spinning pole, whilst of a comparable price, are fixed in place with screws, which makes them lack portability and they leave holes in your ceiling.
